MY STORY

Florida to New York; sunny funfilled days at the beach replaced by cloudy skies and snowmen. My life at age 43 has seen transformations such as these and so much more. I once thought I was alone, the only one experiencing these types of transformations. From a naive innocent individual that was always making others happy to a now somewhat selfish stage that wants to have fun and enjoy life seeking independence yet remaining a great mother. It is said around the age of 40 women experience these emotions. When one puts all their efforts into taking care of others, things take a turn and now we want to be taken care of or just possible just enjoy ourself and to enjoy myself is a new goal. There are so many challenging adventures I never even imagined I could do. Since loosing 35 pounds and seeing a new light, I am up for the challenge.

Music is something that helps me get through the day. From the soft sounds of Colbie Colette to the dance moves of Ne-yo. When I exercise there is nothing like alittle Nickleback or Enrique to get me going.

Though I look forward to the future adventures, I will always love my quiet time. That peace and tranquility that runs though me when outdoors listening to the birds sing their own song while I shoot photos of flowers, waterfalls, sunsets and wildlife or taking a walk with my big boy JJ (my yellow lab), exploring the river that flows along the mountainside in front of my home is like nothing I can explain. So as the white pickett fence comes down and the children continue to grow, its time I take charge of my life.
