Now that your area is prepped, have your primer, paint and air brushing tools ready. First, primer the subwoofer box with one coat. Let it dry and inspect for missed spots. If an area has been missed, apply a second coat. Let that dry and inspect again. Next, apply your base color. Let the first coat dry and similar to the primer, inspect the subwoofer box for any flaws. Apply a second coat and follow the same process.

Once your base coat is applied and cured, you can start your airbrushing work. When your desired design is complete and cured, apply a layer of clear coat to your subwoofer box. Let it cure, inspect and apply another coat if necessary. Cure and dry times will come with the instructions on your paint.
