Meet the Captains
We have two main captains with Blue Waves Adventures. We also have certified staff that accompany the captain on their sails. Read more about the captains:
Captain Bruce
Bruce has been with Blue Waves Sailing Adventures for over 5 years. He had grown up on a sailboat in the Pacific Shores. He came with us with his full certification from the US Coast Guard for Master Captain's License of inspected passenger vessels up to 100 gross tons.
Him and his wife had moved to Florida with their two daughters a year before joining Blue Waves. His enjoyment comes from watching those who are new to sailing fall in love with the wind.
Captain Carey Jo (CJ)
Carey has been sailing in the Caribbean region for over 10 years. She has also obtained her Captain's License from the US Coast Guard, along with participating in many races.
She and her husband own a 36' Hunter racing sailboat off the cost of Key West. She thrives off of teaching others how to sail and showing them the beauty of the ocean from under the sails.
