Tony Garmey went to his first race meeting at just three weeks old. He’s been hooked on cars ever since, often tinkering with cars in his dad’s shop. After leaving high school, he completed a four year apprenticeship as a mechanic with a Mazda dealership. He also had the opportunity to travel with the Indonesian Rally Team. In the mid 1990’s, Tony left New Zealand to work for a vintage race shop in Redmond, WA. A few years later Tony was invited to look after a private collection of vintage and race cars, including several MGs and Ferraris. Tony still maintains many of the cars from that collection.
Incorporated in 2002, Horizon is a Northwest family business. Tony and his small crew strive to provide exceptional personal service both in the shop and at the track.
