Jessica Sigafoos

Hello! My name is Jessica Sigafoos and I am the creator and designer of Wild Creek Art House. I'm a new student in the world of digital design, although I have been a designer of some sort my whole life. I spent a few years painting children's murals and decor and also painting and re-purposing old furniture.

My style is an unapologetic mix of juxtapositions, "old-new, rustic-elegant, nature-glamour". My life is a messy book that spills into my art. I seek to discover symbolism and layered meanings in everything I encounter. I crave variety in my artistic endeavors and in my life. I am sentimental, nostalgic and a dreamer to a fault. I believe everything in life has meaning and happens for a reason.

I like things with a history and adding elements of "new" to them. Things that inspire my style: nature, song lyrics, French design, antiques and vintage, muted colors, the mix of rough and rustic with fine and elegant, classic design, realized beauty in the ordinary and imperfect, textures, and the notion that nothing is old or worn out...it has patina! I look forward to the challenge of bringing these elements to the world of digital design and finding my place as a designer and an artist!
