The diagram shows how Cloud computing works. Various devices controlled by users, shown on the outside ring, access the Cloud. These are phones, desktops, laptops, tablets and any other user interface device. Applications are stored in the Cloud, so they don't have to be stored on the device. This saves storage and memory on the device, and the user doesn't have to worry about losing programs if the device crashes or is lost. The Platform is where you'll find the databse, objects and where your identity is verified. This is the internal workings that a user doesn't need to worry about. Infrastructure is were the computing is done, and where block storage is located. |
