Pack 9261 is a Prairie Lakes District Pack of the Northern Star Council housed within Orchard Lake Elementary of ISD 194 in Lakeville, MN.
The Northern Star logo is descriptive of our part of the country and relates to our mission of providing direction/guidance to young people. The logo is designed to be interpreted on many levels, showing a star moving upward and onward, the circle reflecting the points of a compass and the direction it offers, with the BSA fleur-de-lis in the center of it all.
Boys in grades 1 - 5 experience a wide range of social activities and award requirements that develop their self-responsibility, confidence, and service ethic. Neighborhood and family centered, Pack 9261 meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly in small groups (dens) in homes or other community locations led by volunteer den leaders; and monthly in pack meetings with families and all other dens. They work on award requirements (advancements) at meetings and with their families, as well as take part in pack/den field trips and special Cub Camps.
