Our family has lived in Belvidere for quite a long time. My grandparents have lived
here all of their lives, so they know quite a bit of people here. I feel that our family almost has an unfair
advantage over other people in town. I got a job at Concordia Lanes because our family knows the owners really
well. The following list is a list of my immediate family that lives in Belvidere:
- Pete (Grandpa): Detective and prisoner transporter at the police station for 30 years
- Bonnie (Grandma): Dispatcher at the police station for 30 years
- Sue (Mom): Walmart cashier for almost 10 years
- Andy (Dad): Tow Truck driver for 10 years, maintenance worker at the police station for 5 years
- Justin (Brother): Bailiff at the county courthouse for 5 years. Also attends Rasmussen College
- Kris (Sister-in-Law): Clerk for the county for 5 years. Graduated from Rasmussen College
I also have the cutest puppy ever named Holly. We don't know exactly what kind of dog she is, but we think she's got a little bit of everything. We
adopted her from a group of people who foster dogs. One of those fosters was a close family friend, so we took the opportunity when it first came.
We don't know exactly where she came from or when she was born, so we decided to make her birthday December 3, 2010. That makes her almost a year old! |
