So you want to make some awesome power with your mustang gt, and blow the competition out of the water. Well now it is time to choose your goals for the project build. First step in this, is deciding what procharger system you want to go with, as a procharger-supercharger is the best of the best.
Are you looking to build a high boosted application or are you just looking to add some extra power on your stock 4.6? Well if you want to do a stock motor with a mild power adder, then you want to choose the P1SC set-up and utilize the 6-8 PSI pulley.
Now the P1SC can produce higher boost levels with different pulleys, but it is about maxed out around 16 PSI. But if you are using the D1SC this is not for stock motors as you would need to install forged internals. Yes, you can still use the D1SC with low boost, but this is not idealistic, as the stock pulley is making around 10PSI. The stock 4.6's are good for 8 or 9 PSI. With any boosted application, you will need bigger injectors and most likely a better clutch. (If you are running a manual car)
