So everything is mounted, and you just want to fire it up, well there is one last step before you make the intial start up. Time to install the 42lb or bigger injectors. This is a pretty simple process.
Its very easy. Best thing is to do it when the motor is cold so there wont be as much fuel pressure in the system. Disconnect the battery. Then you can use a rag wrapped around a screw driver and gently push in the shrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail to release all the pressure (if any when cold, lots when hot). The rag should catch most of the fuel. Then you can unclip the connectors and unscrew the bolts that hold the fuel rail down. The injectors will pop out with gentle force. Place a dab of oil on the new injectors O rings before installing them. Bolt it all back together and cycle the key on and off a few times to prime the system before you start it. Let it idle and carefully check for leaks. You might have to remove the TB or the intake tube to get at the back passenger injectors and fuel rail bolt.
