FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of the Red and Blue and were also released for the Gameboy Advance. They added 135 new Pokémon which brought the total to 386. Some new features were added like the 2 on 2 battles, Pokémon Contests and new region of Hoenn. However some features were left out like the day and night system. It was also the first game that encouraged you to merely collect an assortment of the total number of Pokémon instead of every single Pokémon as only 202 are catchable.
