These games mark the beginning of the third generation. They were released for the Gameboy Advance. The games keep track of real life time as it influences berry plant growth. Natures and innate abilities were introduced in this game also. The innate abilities granted you certain abilities in battle or immunity to another type of moves. Nature affected the stats of the Pokemon.
