Pokemon Red and Blue

Red and Blue- These were the very first Pokémon games in the series. The Pokédex was introduced and is used as an in game encyclopedia of the Pokémon you’ve seen and/or caught in you travels. There are 150 Pokémon in this game. These games were original called Pokémon Red and Green but were redone as Red and Blue when they got released internationally.

On February 12, 2014 an Australian programmer launched Twitch Plays Pokemon, which is a social experiment on the video game streaming website Twitch. The project is an attempt to play a modified version of Pokemon Red by typing commands in the chat. There have been an average of 50,000 viewers participating at the same time. That first Twitch Plays Pokemon game was finished at 16 days and 7 hours.
